We are already halfway through August and I can’t believe how quickly the month is flying by. My blog has been up and running for 1 month. I know that may not sound like a long time for many, but it was a journey for me. I couldn’t wait to do it because I had been in a place where I wasn’t sure if what I had to say would matter to anyone else.
How many of you have ideas that swarm your head all day everyday? Me!!! I do! All the time! My mind is constantly running with ideas of this, that and the third. In the midst of the ideas, I have also faced doubts. Doubts about who would want to read it and who would pay any mind to it. I almost convinced myself not to do it. But I have to give it to an amazing audience attraction coach Leah M. Forney. She helped me see the benefits that my blog would offer and helped me talk it out.
Now here I am. A month later with a blog that I wasn’t sure I would launch.
- How many of you have ideas that you want to launch, but haven’t yet?
- What’s stopping you?
- Has overthinking stalled your plans?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are not alone. I was right there with you. I must have been in that space up to the day before the blog launched. I almost let my overthinking stop me from starting. We all know, if you haven’t started then failure can’t get to you. But what about success? How can you touch it, if you haven’t attempted it? I had to learn to not be caught up on being perfect, but to start so I could perfect it on the way.
Challenge of the week:
- Take some time this week to go back into those dreams you had, but didn’t think you could accomplish.
- Take a look at your schedule and carve out some planning time for those dreams.
- Don’t settle for building up someone else’s dream and leaving yours behind.
We all have a story. What is yours?
I wanted to share my experience with you so that someone could be encouraged to start today and do the same.
Happy one month Jessica! So glad you didn’t let fear hold you back. I can definitely relate. We need to hear your stories. Keep them coming!

The ideas of overthinking and perfection. How quickly a plan can be detoured by them. I’m excited to have done it and I cant wait to see how all the pieces continue to move forward. I know I’m super excited for your journey as well.
